Meet Blue Shift, the self-proclaimed post-prog rock band from South East London who have been together for nearly 3 years and counting. Altogether there are 4 members; Simon Everett with lead guitar and lead vocals, James King with rhythm guitar and backing vocals, Mick Hunter on bass guitar and finally, Ian Corrie-Hill on drums.
They find themselves inspired by bands such as Pink Floyd and Muse. However, when you listen to their music you can hear that they have taken inspiration from the era of Led Zeppelin and similar acts of the era.
Having already played a few gigs at infamous venues such as Tunbridge Wells Forum and The Monto Water Rats in London, the band are hoping to tour tour tour and build up that much needed base of supporters. The boys are currently working on new material and are sure to land more gigs to back that up. We can’t wait to see them live!
