As well as live acts, you can catch the UK Vert Skate Championships, artist merch, signing sessions with your favourite musicians and all sorts of stalls and goodies.

Keeping with WARPED tradition, the running order will be decided on the day, with set times posted on a giant board as doors open. Fans are advised to get down early to ensure they don’t miss any of their favourite acts.

IAN WATKINS from LOSTPROPHETS has this to say of the festival’s first standalone trip to the UK…

“When we were growing up, we were always jealous of kids in the States who had the opportunity to go to Warped Tour. It was something we always wanted to do, and of course always wanted to play. Now we find out it’s making its way to the UK, and to make things even sweeter, we’ve been asked to headline. To say we’re honoured and excited is an understatement.”

Of their only UK show of 2012 BMTH’s JONA WEINHOFEN says…

“We couldn’t be more stoked to play Warped Tour UK this November! We had an absolute blast on Warped Tour USA in 2010 and after such a long break writing the album this year, we’ll be ready to hit that stage HARD! Hopefully this will be the beginning of many future Warped Tour events all over the UK.”

Well, where to start about today – would it be with the fact that my contract has been extended two months by work? The fact that I have been insanely hungry all day but lacking the effort to cook, or maybe that for tea I have just eaten a four burger French stick, with lettuce, coleslaw and cheese..

Time to divulge a little more about myself for anybody who is interested, assuming that yes, that’s you if you’re still interested in reading after my previous attempts at blogging. I am currently working as an IT Apprentice doing a level three NVQ – I was told recently that my contact would be ending on the 30th of June which as you can imagine poses a slight issue – how do I finish the NVQ? Well, today I have been told that a two-month extension to my contact has been agreed, so I will actually leave with some form of qualification! *Balloons and cake*

So, good news out of the way

I feel that it would be safe to assume that you’d know what I meant if I said, “Really need to eat, but really don’t want to move” – I have had a day of being stuck with this feeling, slowly becoming hungrier as it becomes later – quickly passing a time that’s reasonable to eat. However, reasonable has never really been something that would describe my mostly limited logical thought process and because of this and an eight thirty pm trip to ASDA; where I purchased a huge stick of French Stick for 10p I have ended up eating:

• Four burgers
• Lettuce
• Coleslaw
• Cheese

Now, I know that you most probably couldn’t care what I ate for tea and I understand that this blog is proof that a character restriction on Twitter is the best thing they ever introduced (short of a few server upgrades – to prevent mass crashes each time a celebrity or Facebook dies).. But I need to stress that as awesome as this idea seemed in my moment of hunger the final result was large, too large for me.

Finally, in tomorrow’s blog you can look forwards to my views on some more current news – maybe touching on politics, maybe..

The box set includes all seven of their studio albums, with over 5½ hours of unreleased material and 65 unreleased tracks. Don’t fear having to upload all of this material CD by CD onto your hard drives, as they have kindly included a download code to save all the hassle for us! The box set also includes 3 DVDs and a special collectors edition book featuring unseen photographs of the band, and an exclusive interview. If that wasn’t enough, they are also chucking in a special limited edition Seymour 7-inch vinyl.

Albums within the box set include the fantastic Leisure, Modern Life is Rubbish, Parklife, The Great Escape, Blur, 13 and Think Tank. Each album grouped with a second CD of B-sides including demos, unheard tracks such as ‘Saturday Morning’ and ‘Hope you find your Suburbs’, and other exclusive bonus material. The first five albums have been successfully re-mastered by Frank Arkwright at Abbey Wood Studios, whilst being seen through out by Graham Coxon and producer Stephen Street.

A vinyl box set will also be available, featuring iconic art work from the likes of Bansky,  David Shrigley and Graham Coxon.

The Box set will be available from the 30th of July 2012. I would recommend any hardcore Blur fans to keep this date  in your diary!

Being forgetful is never a good thing, especially when you forget your IPOD in an 15 hour art exam. Tragic. I had my computer with me, but foolishly I had moved all of my musical material onto another hard drive, and I was left with nothing! I decided to download  a program suggested to me by a friend a very long time a go known as Spotify. Yes, I know what you are all thinking! Spotify is old news, and its been out for ages. But, being me I choose to ignore its wonderful potential as I was battling with itunes. For you guys who have not yet heard of Spotify (I hope I’m not the only one!), it is a must have. Imagine having a never ending Itunes library, with all of the music you ever wanted, without using up any memory. Its something I could only dream about, whilst struggling to keep up with the amount of space my Itunes library was taking up.

Whilst browsing my never ending choice of music new and old, I decided I wanted to listen to something a bit different and brand new to my ears. I had recently been seeing Lizzie Grant (also known as Lana Del Rey) pop up everywhere around me. When her album ‘Born to Die’ was released  on January 27th 2012, I had chosen to ignore the controversy and criticism revolving around it.  I was already very familiar with her single ‘Video Games’ which went viral in 2011, as it was a favourite of mine and my boyfriends. So I decided to give the album a go, even though I had heard a lot of bad and good things. It has been on repeat ever since. I now can not go an hour without listening to at least part of the album or singing parts I know. I defiantly regret having not listened to this album sooner, knowing how good it really is.

So after having discovered two things this week that I have now become addicted to, even though they have been around for months and years, I have decided that for my own good it is best to try keep up  better with the music industry. Never again will I loose touch again and risk missing out on such wonderful things. For you guys who have not got Spotify or listened to ‘Born to Die’, go get it! Its better late than never.
